Voicetastic, explained
Voicetastic is push-to-talk voice messaging, and a full radio configuration UI, for the Meshtastic LoRa mesh. No internet, no cellular, no central server.
What you can do
Voice over LoRa
Hold the mic, talk, release. Audio is compressed, sliced into mesh-sized chunks and reassembled on the other end.
Text chat
Standard Meshtastic text on the channel or DM of your choice, exactly as you would expect.
Full radio config
LoRa, channels, position, power, display, Bluetooth, owner. Every section editable from the app.
No cloud
No accounts, no telemetry, no server in the middle. Your radio is the network.
Voice messaging is experimental. The end-to-end flow is implemented per spec (protocol v3), but it has not yet been field-tested across a wide range of radios. Text and radio configuration are the supported paths today.
